The pandemic has been the perfect time to craft and create. For many crafters, the pandemic might actually be a God-sent gift of extra time to create and do.
For me, this period of time has had it’s ups and downs. There are days when creativity strikes like a lightening bolt. And, then there are long dry spells where the inspiration to create is missing. I sit and scratch my head and then start surfing the internet. Rather than get inspired, I often get distracted and waste time.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been struggling with the moments of inspiration. During one of my internet searches, I found the quote from Bruce Garrabrandt posted above. I’m working on how to turn ordinary moments into creative moments. And, I’m still challenged by this. I’m working to make those ordinary moments more productive.
From those ordinary moments, I’ve created the mandala necklace posted below. Is it as good as one that was created during an inspired moment? You tell me.
